Structure

We have a simple structure to help facilitate the life church and enable us to fulfil our vision.

Chris is paid part-time to help lead the church. Chris convenes a leadership team that is responsible for serving the community, making decisions and helping implement its vision.

We have three small group leaders that help facilitate our midweek gatherings. They each lead a group and enable the mini-communities to come up with a rhythm and focus.

In 2016 we became a registered charity (No.1170706) and established a team of trustees. Our trustees, Chris (chair), Jane, Kat and Adam, oversee the governance of the church as well as providing accountability and support to the leadership.

We’re also in contact with other communities and individuals in Exeter and around the country that share our values and believe in what we’re doing. We seek out connection points with these friends across the year to enable learning, encouragement and challenge.

Our community was first formed by a group from City Life Church Luton with whom we keep strong links.
